<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize and print additional information related to document information in a margin area of a paper medium for printing the document information acquired via a network. <P>SOLUTION: A user terminal calculates the size of the margin area for deciding a synthesized information size. Then, connection with an advertisement information providing server is made by using an address stored in association with the document information for transmitting advertisement request information. In receipt of advertisement information related to the document information from the advertisement information providing server after output of the advertisement request information, the user terminal creates print information formed by combining the document information and the acquired advertisement information together. The user terminal prints the created print information by means of an output device.
