<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset compensation circuit that stably, highly maintains performance and characteristics and can be inexpensively realized for the offset compensation circuit for reducing or suppressing the leakage of a carrier caused by imbalance in an orthogonal modulator. <P>SOLUTION: The offset compensation circuit comprises an addition means for adding a first offset value and a second one for taking a plurality of discrete values to a first digital modulation signal and a second one, respectively, and applying the added results to the orthogonal modulation of the carrier; and a control means for setting ratio on time base, where the first and second offset values can take the plurality of discrete values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
