<p>Connector for the connection of an electric cable (2) to an electrically conducting sleeve (30), the electric cable (2) comprising a conductor (22), which is formed of a plurality of wires, and an insulating casing (21), which surrounds the conductor, the connector comprising a tubular, elastically deformable body (1) having a throughput channel (10, 22), which has a first front part (10) that receives the exposed conductor of the cable and has a diameter adapted thereto, and a rear part (11) that has a greater diameter than the front part (10) and receives the front end part of the cable casing (21), the conductor (22) being bent over around the front end of the body in order to, by the body's (1) front part in the mounting direction, be clamped into contact with the sleeve (30), the peripheral surface of the body having a conical section (18) in order to, upon insertion into the sleeve (30), be compressed radially into sealing contact with the outer surface of the cable casing, the body (1), on the outside thereof, having a circumferential, forwardly facing cavity (14), and the wires of the conductor being distributed around the outer circumference of the body and having the end portions (23) thereof received in the cavity (14).</p> |
