PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood joint fitting for easily attaining dovetail joint in joining a column and a sill, a beam to a beam or the like and bringing out strength of wood to the maximum. SOLUTION: The wood joint fitting 11 interposed between a dovetail 2 provided at the end face of a first wood 1, and a square hole 3a provided in the side face of a second wood 3 to fit the dovetail, to connect them, is composed of first joining members 12 and a second joining member 13. Each joining member 12 comprises a support plate 15 fitted into a slit 2a provided from an end face to a root part of the dovetail, so that the tip projects from the end face of the dovetail, and a wedge-like engaging part 16 fixed to one side face of the support plate and engaged with the dovetail. The joining members 12 are mounted to both side parts of the dovetail, and the support plates are fixed to the dovetail by first joining pins 18 to engage the engaging parts to the dovetail. The second joining member 13 is formed as a box body and fitted into the square hole, and the upper parts of sidewalls are fixed to the second wood together with the tips of the second joining members by second joining pins 19.
