PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle for young child which can be used by switching wheels into a linked state of being connected and linked to a drive source such as a motor (through a reduction gear or the like) or into an idling state of not being connected and linked to the drive source. SOLUTION: A vehicle body is provided with: a plurality of wheels in contact with the ground; a power transmission board 2 for transmitting driving force to driving wheels 1 which are at least one of the wheels designated to be the driving wheels; and a switch means 3 for switching the driving wheels 1 into the linked state of being connected and linked to a power transmission board 2 or into the idling state of not being connected and linked to the power transmission board 2. The switch means 3 consists of a pair of linking arm members 4 which are attached to the driving wheels 1 and which make the power transmission board 2 in a state where it can be insert-held and opened; and an operation member 5 for operating the connection arms 4.
