<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a porous body which is small in change in the pore diameter distribution at a high temperature and which has excellent heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the porous body comprises allowing micelles or reverse micelles, kept in a dispersed state in a solvent by a surfactant, to hold particles being converted into a precursor of the porous body in respective inner spaces, then aggregating the particles of the micelles or the reverse micelles to each other, and firing the aggregated particles. The method is characterized by having a process for aggregating the particles of the respective micelles or the respective reverse micelles by performing processing for eliminating the dispersed state of the micelles or the reverse micelles including the particles being converted into the precursor by the surfactant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
