<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based electrode ink enabling an electrode pattern to be stably printed; and to provide a method for producing the electrode ink. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based electrode ink comprises 25-40 wt.% of a metal powder, 3-6 pts. wt. of two or more kinds of water-soluble resins selected from the water-soluble resins based on 100 pts. wt. of the metal powder, 1.5-1.9 times by weight of aqueous plasticizer as much as the weight of the water-soluble resin, and the remainder of water.
