PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incandescent material composed of microtube made of polypyrrole processed by processing method for microtube made of polypyrrole. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the incandescent material incandescing by supplying electric current to the microtube made of polypyrrole characterized by having a wall thickness of 0.1 to 104μm, a length of 10 to 106μm, a diameter of 1 to 105μm and having≥50Ω-1cm-1of electric conductivity in the long axis direction of the microtube or to the incandescent material obtained by the processing method for the microtube made of polypyrrole comprising a direct heating of the microtube made of polypyrrole with fire.
