PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus employing removable modules wherein various modules including a camera module can be attachable to and detachable from the imaging apparatus while keeping rigidity. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus employing removable modules comprises a base plate wherein a plurality of mount positions are provided and a plurality of modules removably fitted to the plurality of mount positions of the base plate.
