PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of surely carrying out a reservation. SOLUTION: A battery residual-quantity monitor section 1133 as a monitor means monitoring the residual quantity of a battery 110 and a power control section 111, a reception section 101 receiving programs broadcast in a digital broadcasting and an input section 106 setting the reservations of the broadcasting-predetermined programs are mounted. When electric energy for the time section of reservation setting can be ensured in the residual quantity of the battery monitored by the monitor means in the case of the reservation setting, a control section 113 ensuring the electric energy and receiving the reservation setting as an actually practiced reservation is further mounted.
