SHUTTER UNIT AND IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter unit with which an imaging apparatus can be made small-sized without suppressing the degree of freedom of design of an imaging optical system, and to provide a small-sized thin imaging apparatus which uses the shutter unit. SOLUTION: The shutter unit SU is used for a zoom lens system TL for forming an optical image IM of a body on a photodetection surface SS of an imaging device SR, and has a mirror MR which bends an optical path by a reflecting surface RL slanting at nearly 45°to the optical axis AX of the zoom lens system TL and a shutter blade SH which slants at nearly 90°to the reflecting surface RL and closes a shutter by cutting off the optical path.
