PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor for wet development having prescribed sensitivity for a long period and having excellent durability and solvent resistance and an image forming apparatus for wet development. SOLUTION: A photoreceptor layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor for wet development provided with the photoreceptor layer on a conductive substrate and the image forming apparatus for wet development provided with such electrophotographic photoreceptor for wet development contains a stilbene derivative having an ethenyl structure at a molecular terminal expressed by general formula (1) as a hole transport agent.
