PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate opening/closing device ensuring continuous operation. SOLUTION: This gate opening/closing device is provided with an opening/closing drive unit 1 having an output shaft 6 rotationally driven by two air cylinders 4R, 4L through crank mechanisms 7R, 7L, 8, and a gate opening/closing mechanism 52 rotationally driven by the output shaft 6 to open/close a sliding gate 45. The gate opening/closing device is further provided with a cam mechanism 13 having cam plates 7R, 7L rotated by the output shaft 6 and formed with cam grooves 15 over the circumferential direction, and cam rollers 16 engaged with the cam grooves 15 and operated following the rotation of the cam plates 7R, 7L. A pressurized gas supply pipe for supplying pressurized gas to the respective air cylinders 4R, 4L is provided with a three-way selector valve 11Ro, and the cam roller 16 of the cam mechanism 13 and a valve stem 32 of the selector valve 11Ro are connected and interlocked with each other.
