<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the output quantity of each generator per unit time on the basis of a prospective consumption of fuel whose receiving quantity is predetermined and an increased fuel cost of fuel whose receiving quantity is not predetermined. <P>SOLUTION: A generator output amount determining apparatus is so designed as to determine the output quantity of a first generator that generates electric power using fuel whose receiving quantity is predetermined and the output quantity of a second generator that generates electric power using fuel whose receiving quantity is not predetermined. The determining apparatus includes: a generator output determination unit that determines the output quantity of the second generator so that the quantity of a power shortage is compensated; an increase suppression unit that determines the output quantity of the first generator based on the prospective consumption of fuel whose receiving quantity is predetermined in a period of time in which, with respect to the output quantity of the second generator, determined by the generator output determination unit, the increased fuel cost is equal to or higher than a predetermined price; and a generator output correction unit that determines the output quantity of the second generator so that the electric energy obtained by subtracting the output quantity of the first generator, determined by the increase suppression unit, from the quantity of a power shortage is supplied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
