<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent paper jamming from occurring at the time of ejecting paper by surely ejecting the paper regardless of the height of sheet paper or a size of sheet paper accumulated in an in-body paper ejection part when ejecting the paper in the in-body paper ejection part in an image forming apparatus equipped with an optional paper ejection mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: When the height of the sheet paper P accumulated in the in-body paper ejection part 7 reaches the nip position of a paper ejection roller 24, the paper ejecting speed of the paper ejection roller 24 is increased immediately after waiting for sheet paper P passing through the fixing device 22, whereby ejecting force for the sheet paper P is increased. While the fixation of the sheet paper P is performed by a next image forming process after ejecting the sheet paper P, the paper ejecting speed of the paper ejection roller 24 is held at ordinary speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
