PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a taste of a game by devising a retention device and providing the game with wide variations. SOLUTION: This Pachinko machine 10 is provided with an outer frame 11 forming an outer shell of the Pachinko machine 10 and an inner frame 12 is openably/closably supported to one side of the outer frame 11. The inner frame 12 is mainly constituted of a resin base with a rectangular external shape and a game board is detachably mounted to the back side of the resin base. The game board is provided with the retention device having a retention part and a specific ball entering means producing a predetermined game state and, when the retention device changes into a retention released state with a game ball retained in the retention part, the game ball is guided to the specific ball entering means at a probability according to the retention state of the game ball. This game machine is so formed as to change the necessary number of retained balls, or the number of retained balls necessary for surely guiding the game balls to the specific ball entering means, when the retention device changes into the retention released state.
