<p>The invention relates to imidazole derivatives of the formula I, wherein n is 1, R1 is hydraogen or C1-C4 alkyl with affinity for alpha-2 receptors, which are useful e.g. in the treatment of hypertension, glaucoma, chronic or acute pain, migraine, diarrhea, common cold, ischemia, addiction to chemical substances, anxiety, especially preoperative anxiety and various neurological, musculo-skeletal, psychiatric and cognitive disorders or as an anesthetic adjunct.</p> |
