A tandem-wheeled riding device (10, 50, 110) includes first and second riding wheel assemblies (16, 18) secured to a bottom surface (20) of a platform (12, 112) for supporting a rider. At least one of the riding wheel assemblies (16, 18) is swivelly coupled to the platform to provide aggressive turning agility to the device. The device further includes at least two outrigger wheel assemblies (30) coupled to the platform (12, 112) and biased toward the riding surface (44) to improve stability of the riding device during sharp turns. |
