<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a lithium-ion battery capable of further restraining generation of gas. <P>SOLUTION: After an anode is formed, a coating film is formed electrochemically with the use of reaction liquid containing a film-forming material on the surface of the anode, before the battery is assembled. As the film-forming material, 1,3-dioxole-2-one, 4-vinyl-1,3-dioxolane-2-one, or ethylene sulfide or the like can be cited.
