PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus of a pellet showing no deterioration of quality and having big apparent specific gravity.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus 100 of the pellet comprises (a) a bundling portion 16 bundling one or a plurality of belt-like long continuous materials R and/or a plurality of filamentous long continuous materials R into a string-like bundled material R' having narrow width, (b) a compressing portion 22 having a pair of compressing rollers 50a and 50b each having irregularity on the outer circumferential surface and point-compressing a twisted string material R'' to form a string S, (c) a rotating portion 14 twisting the string-like bundled material R' to form the twisted string material R'' by relatively rotating the bundling portion 16 or the compressing portion 22, and (d) a cutting portion 102 mounted at the outlet side of the compressing portion 22 an cutting the point-compressed string S at a predetermined interval into the pellets.
