PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excitation coil in which magnetic coupling is improved between the excitation coil and an exothermic roller, in which the calorific value is improved, and in which the temperature distribution is uniform over the entire longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: This is constituted of a first longitudinal part 301a, a second longitudinal part 301b, and two crossover parts 402 to couple the first longitudinal part 301a and the second longitudinal part 301b, the first longitudinal part 301a and the second longitudinal part 301b are curved in the same direction, at least one perpendicular cross-sectional shape of the first longitudinal part 301a and the second longitudinal part 301b is formed at least by two regions of different curvatures, the inner face shape of the both end crossover parts 402 has an approximately flat part placed more outside than the inner face arc part of the longitudinal part, and the outer cross sectional shape of the crossover parts 402 is formed to be larger than the outside cross-sectional shape of the longitudinal direction part.
