PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile the improvement of detergency and the reduction of a damage of a washing at a high level by specially adapting a concrete technique to inject the compressed air in a washing tank when a jet type vortex agitation means is installed. SOLUTION: A washing machine 10 includes the cylindrical washing tank with a bottom 12, two or more jet members 13 which form jet orifices 16 and 17 to touch an inner wall surface of the washing tank, and an air supply device 31 to supply the compressed air to the jet members, wherein the jet members 13 are attached to the inner wall surface of the washing tank 12 in a stretched and built-up condition and are arranged in parallel on an inner peripheral surface of the inner wall surface of the washing tank 12 and the jet orifices 16 and 17 are distributed along the inner peripheral surface of the washing tank 12.
