The invention relates to a batch for producing a fireproof ceramic moulded body comprising a porous matrix, containing a non-oxidic, ceramic component with at least one grain size and an organic binding agent. The invention also relates to a method for producing the moulded body and to the use of said body as a diesel particulate filter.
