METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING WASTE WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating waste water, by each of which an inorganic fluorine compound and heavy metals in waste water containing suspended solids (SS) are removed until the concentrations of them become low and in each of which a filtration membrane is hardly clogged. SOLUTION: The method for treating waste water comprises: steps St11-St14 of producing the first treated water E1 by growing the inorganic fluorine compound or heavy metals in the waste water containing SS having prescribed particle size into a first solid containing the inorganic fluorine compound or heavy metals; a first filtration step St16 of filtering the first solid from the first treated water to coat the filtration membrane 31 with the first solid; steps St21-St24 of producing the second treated water by growing the inorganic fluorine compound or heavy metals in a filtrate L1 separated at the first filtration step St16 into a second solid; and a second filtration step St26 of filtering the second treated water E2 by the first solid-coated filtration membrane 31.
