摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which can increase suction force, and can increase dust separating performance by a dust separating section which is arranged on the upstream side of the vacuum cleaner body. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with the dust separating section 4 in a suction air passage element connected with the vacuum cleaner body which has a built-in electric blower. A straight tubular air passage 15a is provided at a part of the suction air passage element. The dust separating section 4 is provided around the straight tubular air passage 15a, and separates dust from air by inertia separation. The dust separating section 4 has an inlet 34 from which dust-containing air passing through the straight tubular air passage 15a is introduced, and an outlet which is connected with the straight tubular air passage 15a at a position on the downstream side of the inlet, and forms another air passage which makes the dust-containing air introduced from the inlet 34 flow along the straight tubular air passage 15a. An air introducing member 61 is provided which introduces the dust-containing air passing through the straight tubular air passage 15a to the inlet 34 of the other air passage. Thus, the straight tubular air passage 15a is made to function as an in-run passage, and inertia separation is performed in the dust separating section 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
