<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the cost around a vibration control structure and reduce the weight while the inflating and deploying performance of an airbag is well guaranteed. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag device is equipped with a bag holder 11 to hold the air bag 12 and a gas supplier 20 capable of jetting a gas into the airbag 12, wherein the gas supplier 20 is supported by the bag holder 11 through damper rubber (resilient piece) 14. The airbag 12 is in the folded-up condition accommodated in a bag accommodation part R formed from the bag holder 11 and a cover 13 and is composed of an inflatable, deployable part 12a held by the bag holder 11, a ring-shaped mounting part 12b fixed air-tightly to the gas supplier 20, and a connection part 12c to connect the part 12b with the part 12a. The connection part 12c and the mounting part 12b of the airbag 12 and the gas supplier 20 are located outside the bag accommodation part R, and the connection part 12c is arranged deformable in compliance with the movement of the gas supplier 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
