The device has a handling device (21) such as a screw feeder, for feeding blasting abrasive to a spinner (18), and a motor (20) provided for rotating the spinner. The screw feeder and the spinner are arranged on a same shaft, and the feeder is propelled by the shaft and the abrasive is radiated on shaped parts. The handling device and the spinner are driven by the same motor. An independent claim is also included for method for trimming of shaped parts by irradiating with blasting abrasive.
