<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for tying a patient with a specimen data, capable of tying (making one-to-one correspondence of) the patient with the specimen data obtained from the patient without a mistake, and managing unitarily by organically performing a combining process of input data, thereby making it possible to perform an order work in a hospital efficiently and promptly with a reduced cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a handwriting and input step for performing handwriting of a patient identification character using a predetermined form, selecting an inspection item, and inputting an input data constituted of the handwritten identification character and the inspection item to a computer; an output data generation step for generating necessary output data and barcodes on a specimen-by-specimen basis, after obtaining the number of specimens required for the inspection from the inspection item; and a label print step for printing the above output data, barcode and handwritten identification character on a single sticker label for each specimen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
