<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antibody that is not reacted with normalβ2-microglobulin but is specifically reacted with metamorphicβ2-microglobulin made ameroid by change of stereostructure and to provide an immunoassay method for assaying metamorphicβ2-microglobulin by the antibody. <P>SOLUTION: The anti-metamorphicβ2-microglobulin antibody is a monoclonal antibody obtained by usingβ2-microglobulin C-terminal homologous peptide containing an amino acid sequence from 92nd to 99th of C-terminal side ofβ2-microglobulin as an immunogen, is not reacted with normalβ2-microglobulin but is specifically reacted with metamorphicβ2-microglobulin insolubilized by change of stereostructure.
