<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the compatibility that a mobile station transfers packets via a plurality of wireless base stations, and the mobile station and the wireless base stations have a retransmission control function for wireless channels. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of receiving a packet through the use of the wireless channel between the mobile station 40 and each of the wireless base stations 30-1, 30-2, the mobile station 40 selects one of a channel under the condition of best transmission quality such as a channel with packets of minimum error, or a channel whose reception is finished in the shortest time to select one corresponding wireless base station and processes its downlink packet.
