PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system gathering a network history of a specified user. SOLUTION: The network system of the present invention is equipped with: a network use history managing server 7 which makes a request to acquire L2 device information corresponding to the user ID of the specified user; a user terminal monitor server 6 which once receiving the acquisition request, transmits L2 device information corresponding to the user ID to the user network use history managing server 7; and a history-gathered L2 device 4 which gathers L2 frames. The user network use history managing server 7, when once received the L2 device information from the user terminal monitor server 6, gives notice of a start of history gathering to the history-gathered L2 device 4, which gathers the network use history of the specified user.
