The door or window has a magnetic locking part (2) interacting with a magnetic locking part (10) attached to a door or window stick or to a frame part of a blind frame. A fastener (3) is provided on the part (2) at a side opposite to a closed position of the part (10). The fastener has a retainer, in which a damping unit (4) is accommodated, whose free end protrudes towards the part (10) on a boundary surface of the fastener.
