<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium with almost no background fogging excellent in image preservation stability and whiteness without damaging recording sensitivity, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive recording layer, which is mainly composed of an electron donative and normally colorless or light-colored dye precursor, an electron accepting developer, and a sensitizer, is provided on a support in the heat-sensitive recording medium. A urea-urethane compound expressed by general formula (1) and calcium carbonate are mixedly pulverized by a water-soluble dispersant and added to the heat-sensitive recording layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
