PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a variety of characters for display to be used as a headline for a brochure or a flier or the like by a simple operation of a beginner.

SOLUTION: As information processing device comprises a character line input part 401 which inputs a character line consisting of a plurality of characters; a start color setting part 402 which sets the color of the first character of the input character line; a finish color setting part 403 which sets the color of the last character of the input character line; a character number counting part 404 which counts the number of the characters in the character line; a character color determining part 405 which determines the color of the characters in the character line except the first and the last character so that the degree of the color shifting from the color set by the start color setting part 402 to the finish color setting part 403 can be shifted uniformly by the unit of the characters on the basis of the number of the characters counted; and a display control part 307 which colors and displays the color set or determined in the character line.
