PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the order changing of pieces of music. SOLUTION: This method includes a first operation step of designating data to be edited among a plurality of data recorded in a recording medium, a displaying step of notifying the data designated to be edited in the first operation step, a second operation step of defining collective editing instruction for the data designated to be edited in the first operation step, and a control step of controlling the rewriting of the management information of a management area to shorten the reproduction order of data except the data designated to be edited when the collective editing instruction of the data designated to be edited by the first operation means is defined in the second operation step.
