PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively restrain noise in a projection type display device caused by a cooling fan. SOLUTION: The projection type display device 8 is equipped with a rectangular plate-like housing 10, and provided with the cooling fan 30 for supplying cooling air to a light source 12 inside the housing 10. The cooling fan 30 is attached through a holder 32 in the housing 10, and faces to an aperture 1002 on the side surface of the housing 10, and air inside the housing 10 passes through the periphery of the light source 12 by driving the cooling fan 30 and blows out to the outside of the housing 10 from the aperture 1002. A blade body 3006 constituting the cooling fan 30 is integrally molded by a mold by using synthetic resin having a vibration restraining effect. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
