PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a dishwasher by which a washer body is extremely easily installated on a stand. SOLUTION: The dishwasher is provided with a washer body 16 equipped with an opening 16a and legs 16b in front and at the bottom, respectively, and is formed in a box shape, and a washing tank 17 which is stored inside the washer body 16 in a way that it can be moved in and out freely through the opening 16a by a slide rail 18. In the method for installing the dish washer on a stand 23, a convex member A25 with a height equal to or lower than that of the leg 16b is installed on top of the stand 23, the washer body 16 is placed on top of the stand 23, and a member B27 which abuts against the front surface of the washer body 16 is attached to the convex member A25 from front with screws to prevent the washer body 16 from moving forward. The attachment of the convex member A25 on the stand 23 and the attachment of the member B27 which prevents the washer body 16 from moving forward can be carried out extremely easily to significantly improve the construction workability.
