PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas adsorption material capable of preventing a gas adsorptive filler stuck to the surface of a fiber from coming off and capable of suppressing the reduction of a specific surface area in the gas adsorptive filler. SOLUTION: The subject gas adsorbent contains the fiber, a binder resin on its surface and the gas adsorptive filler, the binder resin is a moist heat gelatinized resin, and the gas adsorptive filler is stuck by a gelatinized substance that the moist heat gelatinized resin is moist heat gelified. For example, the gas adsorptive filler (3) is effectively stuck to a sheath component (1) of combined fibers (5) which component comprises a core component (2) of polypropylene as a thermoplastic synthesized resin component and the sheath component (1) of ethylene-vinylalcohol copolymer as a moist heat gelatinized fiber component.
