PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage inspection device for a liquid storage tank capable of inspecting concurrently leakages in a gas phase and a liquid phase in the liquid storage tank, and capable of recording surely minute fluctuations in the liquid face level. SOLUTION: In this leakage inspection device C having a float 8 floating on a liquid face, a wire 9 for suspending the float 8 at its lower end, a swing balancer 7 with a midway fixed to a pivotal shaft 3, arranged swingably around an axis of the pivotal shaft 3, with one end fixed to the wire 9, and with the other end attached with a weight 11, a pointer 13 with one end fixed to the pivotal shaft 3 and swung interlocked with the turning of the pivotal shaft 3, a notation part 14 attached to the pointer 13, and a rotary recording disc 15 for abutting to the notation part 14 to record a locus of the notation part 14, a portion communicated with the liquid storage tank A is formed into air-tight structure, and cut-out holes 15a are provided intermittently along a rotational direction, in the rotary recording disc 15.
