<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring outgoing light of an optical pickup which can measure the characteristics of the optical pickup with a simple configuration, and speedily adjust the optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: The outgoing light measuring device for measuring aberration of the outgoing light emitted from the optical pickup splits the parallel light emitted from the optical pickup, images a beam spot condensed by a 1st condenser lens, and images a beam spot at the time of varying the defocused state by moving a 2nd condenser lens by predetermined amounts in the optical axis. Since the adjustment is carried out with the same device, the outgoing light measuring device requires setting only once. Also, an interferometer is not strictly required to be aligned in the optical axis, but has only to be located so that the beam spot is positioned on an imaging means. The outgoing light measuring device permits speedy adjustment of the optical pickup and a markedly inexpensive configuration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
