<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp in which a fluorescent lamp and a lighting device are housed in an envelope of nearly the same dimension as an incandescent lamp made of a globe and a cover body and which has a relatively high arc tube power, and which has a high reliability of lighting device by efficiently radiating the heat inside the cover to the outside of the cover and suppressing thermal effect received by the electronic components. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp has a relatively high heat generating amount during lighting as at least a part of electronic components mounted on a circuit board of the lighting device is connected to the cover inner face through a thermal conductive substance, and a relatively high arc tube power is inputted in a small size lamp. However, that heat can be efficiently radiated to the outside through the thermal conductive substance, thereby, particularly thermal damage of the lighting device can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
