PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display system enabling a viewer to easily and quickly obtain detailed distribution information from a signboard. SOLUTION: On a part of a signboard body 2 installed at a desired location, a code display section 4 having the detailed distribution information or information for accessing the same is formed, and the code display section 4 is read by a code reading means 5. By transferring, directly or from a system server 7, the detailed distribution information corresponding to the code display section is displayed on an information display means 5. Thus, the detailed distribution information composed of lengthy character information or the like can be easily and quickly displayed on the information display means without taking the trouble to copy all the information.
