PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of chopsticks allowing a user to easily grab an object without slipping and, when washing them, easily remove contamination. SOLUTION: This chopstick, in its tip part, is formed with a swelled part 3 and a corrugated part 4 from the tip side sequentially, and the corrugated part is smoothly constituted of a trough part 6 and a crest part 7. The swelled part is formed with a cut face 3a by cutting its tip part, an approximately truncated-cone-shaped front side tapered face 3b gradually getting a larger diameter as its extending from the circumferential edge of the cut surface toward the rear side, and a swelled part rear face 3c getting a smaller diameter as its extending from the rear edge of the front side tapered face toward the rear side.
