<p>A window or door locking system, especially for double wing windows without a central bar has two sliding locking bars (7, 8) fitted to the overlap on one window to lock into the fixed upper and lower frames. The locking bars are driven by a pinion attached to a handle. The pinion drive is protected by a cover plate between the overlap and the drive, or by two cover plates straddling the shaft of the handle.</p> |
