<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure device for automative trunk lids capable of ensuring a sufficient trunk capacity and enabling components except a striker to be used in common. SOLUTION: A striker 45 is structure to be guided, by a supporting base 20, in the vertical direction through a striker base 40 regardless of the direction in which the striker 45 engages a latch member so that the whole of a closure device 20a is not bulky in the longitudinal direction of the carbody, and various kinds of strikers 45, each of which has the shape which corresponding to the direction in which the striker 45 engages the latch member, are prepared. The various strikers 45 and components except the striker 45 are assembled to form closure devices in order for the components except the striker 45 to be used in common.</p> |
