<p>The engine has a case with two shells inside which an optical path is defined between a while light source and a projection lens. The case has a color wheel (20) placed along the path and driven in rotation by a driving motor mounted on a support (30). The wheel has color filters placed on the path during wheel rotation. The support is installed on the case so that the wheel, motor and support are accessible from outside the case. An independent claim is also included for a rear projection television having an optical engine.</p> |
