PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dampen the action of a suspicious individual as well as deposit marking coloring agent onto the suspicious individual without spraying it while keeping a fixed distance from the suspicious individual to give no injury and secondary damage to commodities therearound when using a tool for fighting the suspicious individual. SOLUTION: The tool for fighting the suspicious individual comprises a rod member and a holding part mounted at one end of the rod member. The hold part has a space portion wide enough to exceed the thickness of the leg of a target suspicious individual and a gate portion communicated with the space portion and restricted in the passing-through direction.
