PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new butterfly screw to be used for assembling and fastening of a machine. SOLUTION: A flat knob part 9 is integrally formed with a head part of a male screw stem 8 through a connection part 14 having a wide part within a plane vertical to the axis of the male screw stem. This knob part 9 is formed with a slit 11 of a width allowing a screwdriver main body part to be loosely fitted in the slit, along the axis of the male screw stem 8. The knob part 9 is operated by fingers to screw the male screw stem by a certain degree, and thereafter, the screwdriver main body part is inserted into the slit 11, and rotated to more strongly screw the male screw stem.
