IDENTIFICATION OF THE AREA OF ORIGIN AND DIFFERENTIATION OF CULTIVARS, BY USING MRI

The present invention describes the use of the technique for acquiring images by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), to identify the area of origin of produce and to differentiate the different cultivars of a same product. In one of its preferred aspects, the invention is used to identify the production area of the cherry tomato and to differentiate its cultivars.
