PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy registration of a transmitter ID in a receiver by a setting device with a simple structure. SOLUTION: In a tire pneumatic pressure monitoring system, the transmitter ID is registered in the receiver by the setting device with the simple structure. A physical irritation is provided to the transmitter to be set. In response to this physical irritation, the transmitter transmits the transmitter ID at a predetermined time interval by a predetermined number of times. A receiving means, when continuously receiving the transmitter ID by the predetermined number of times, records identification information that is continuously received by the predetermined number of times. By performing this process in the order of predetermined tire positions, the receiver can register all transmitter IDs while relating the tire positions to the received transmitter IDs.
